到校支援服務

為照顧非華語學童的需要，本園為非華語兒童及家長提供不同模式的支援。本園之非華語學生，主要來自法國、英國、日本等不同國家，每年均按非華語學生人數向教育局申請津貼，聘請教學助理和翻譯員，一方面帶領幼兒學習中文，為幼兒設計不同的語文教材，一方面為家長翻譯學習資料或通告，讓家長更了解學校和幼兒的學習情況。

本園教師曾接受教導非華語學童的專業培訓課程，支援本園老師如何協助非華語學童學習中文，提供具體策略建議和介紹相關資源。加強對非華語學童的支援。

To cater the needs of NCS students, Precious Blood Kindergarten has offered to NCS children and their parents different modes of support. The majority of our NCS students comes from France, England, Japan, etc. We shall apply for subsidies from Education Bureau base on the number of NCS students every year for hiring teaching assistants and translators, to design various language teaching materials for leading NCS students to learn Chinese on one hand, and help translating learning materials and circulars to let parents understand more about the kindergarten and the learning situation of their child on the other.

Teachers of our kindergarten have received professional training in teaching NCS students. They understand how to help NCS students in learning Chinese, provide on-point suggestions and introduce relevant resources. This has enhanced our support for NCS students.
